SweatMint Account Deletion

This page explains how users can request deletion of a SweatMint account and related personal data. Users can submit the request inside the app or by contacting support if they cannot access the app.

How to request account deletion

In-app deletion flow

Open the SweatMint app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings.
Open Delete Account.
Complete the re-authentication step and submit your deletion request.
Your account enters a 30-day cooling-off period before permanent deletion.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@sweatmint.com from the email address linked to your SweatMint account.
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
Include your SweatMint email address and, if available, your username.
Our support team may ask for reasonable verification before processing the request.

Cooling-off period

After you submit an account deletion request, SweatMint applies a 30-day cooling-off period before permanent deletion. During that period, you may cancel the deletion request from the app if your account is still accessible.

Data deleted

Account profile data, including email address, username, and avatar
Health and fitness records associated with your account, including steps, distance, and calories
In-app social profile data and related account settings
Session records, push notification tokens, and active authentication tokens

Data that may be retained

Limited audit and compliance records may be retained when required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse
Financial, tax, anti-fraud, or transaction records may be retained for the minimum period required by applicable law
Anonymized or aggregated analytics records may be retained when they no longer identify you

Requests to delete some data without deleting the account

SweatMint does not currently provide a separate web workflow for deleting selected personal data while keeping the account active. If you want to limit specific data processing without deleting your account, you can use these controls:

Withdraw optional permissions such as Health Connect, activity recognition, notifications, or location in your device settings
Update or remove profile fields such as avatar or username inside the app where available
